Android requires completely different coding then Apple. If Ari was a large company, he could hire some android coders as well as. The apple ones he already has. Sadly Ari is just one person.

Actually that's not 100% true.
And Ari mentioned that the Android Port is something he is definitely looking at after the update.

It's definitely more realistic than a higher building height ;)

Technically, it is an entirely different programming language. With that said, there are ways to make cross platform development much less painful. Of course, that depends on how Ari already coded the game. For example, if he made an iOS platform layer and separated it from the 'game code' which is independent from platforms, then he could easily just make an Android platform layer without changing any of the actual game code, and it will work just fine.

You can use C++ on Android. This is not entirely different from objective-c. Of course there are still "some" things to change but technically it is possible or not?

Right. Well, the whole platform layer thing I mentioned assumes everything is written in the same language - C++. That's what Ari should do :)

Ah ok. Still have not really experience with coding for iOS or Android.

I just have done some web programming and I just started with C/C++ at school which is kinda boring right now because we do just basic stuff which I already know xD

But you have more experience with that so I guess you are right :D

No offense to Ari, but he usually takes the hard paths in coding that take a long time...

They used to teach cursive and handwriting in 1st grade. Then they taught typing instead of cursive. In 20 years, I bet they'll teach coding instead of handwriting.
